Induction Course Outline
Before you can apply to be a member of the Christchurch Pistol Club, you will need to attend a club Induction Course.
This will be your first formal introduction to Pistol Shooting and you will spend time learning about the club and visiting the various disciplines we have on offer.
Once the formal part of the induction has been completed, you will be given the opportunity to fire a few pistols on one of the front rages.
Pistol Shooting is a VERY safe sport, more than any other sport involving firearms. The Christchurch Pistol Club has never had an accident involving a firearm and we don’t intend to start now. Safety is paramount and ALL shooting is done under the immediate supervision of a trained range officer.
Step 1 – Complete Registration Form
To register your interest for the next available Induction Course, please complete the form below. You must have a firearms license to attend and your details must match those on your FAL.
Inductions are held every 2 months and early registration is recommended. Please check out our Event Calendar for the next available course.
Step 2 – Pay the Course Fee
Once we have submitted your application, you will be sent an invoice for payment along with details on the time and date of the next course.
